This collection of earlier work is interesting for it’s relationship to the present. Because I work within an organic process—one part of my work gradually turning into the next—the ancestry of my Hilltowns can be seen in my Fantasy Houses, just as the beginnings of my paintings can be seen in the surface decoration on the plaques.
